Jackson's Retreat is truly a hidden gem that exceeded our expectations. The location is stunning, surrounded by nature's beauty including a mesmerizing waterfall and the enchanting glowworms. The rooms were immaculate and cozy, providing great comfort during our stay. We were welcomed by the incredibly accommodating owner, who made sure we had everything we needed. The only downside was that we wished we could have stayed longer to explore everything at this fantastic spot.

I had an amazing stay at this campsite! It’s clean, well-maintained, and the staff is super helpful and friendly. Accessing the glowworm dells was a unique experience, and the walk to the waterfall felt like a mini-adventure. The only downside was that it was a bit pricier than others I've visited, and the mobile reception was non-existent unless I drove a bit. Overall, it’s fantastic value for a memorable experience.

Our experience at the campsite was quite mixed. On one hand, the facilities were exceptional, clean, and offered an enjoyable camping experience. We loved the glowworms and overall cleanliness of the area. However, the behavior of one of the owners was extremely unprofessional, which overshadowed our trip. It was unfortunate that the service was marred by the owner's attitude.

Jackson's Retreat is an absolute gem tucked away in nature, with stunning scenery and extremely helpful hosts. The cleanliness of the facilities really stood out, making it a pleasure to stay here. The cabin we stayed in was cozy and close to amenities, perfect for exploring the beautiful surroundings. While the price might be on the higher side compared to other campsites, the exceptional experience and amenities justify it.

I had a great time at Jackson's Retreat Alpine Holiday Park, nestled in an incredibly scenic area surrounded by mountains and greenery. The facilities were top-notch, especially the clean showers and spacious kitchen area. However, the park is quite remote, so a car is necessary for exploring nearby activities. The glow-worm experience was a highlight, but some of the walking tracks didn’t meet my expectations. Overall, it's perfect for a short stopover while traveling through Arthur's Pass.
